Description

If you're searching for one bike to do it all, look no further than than Trek's CrossRip Comp. This machine is ready for the road, gravel, commutes, and even some cyclocross racing. Its light aluminum frame teams up with a carbon fork, making it fast and fun to ride. Shimano gives you a 24-speed drivetrain with 3-ring cranks up front that are perfect for the steepest hills. And since you have rack and fender mounts as well, you have some gear-hauling and foul-weather capacity. Disc brakes give you all-conditions stopping too, so go ahead, commute all winter long and tour the sloppiest dirt roads. The tires are Bontrager Hard-Cases, so flats are pretty much a thing of the past as well.

Terrible looking color

Pros:
Lightweight
Cons:
Best Uses:
Very disappointed that this bike only comes in one color. Women ride bikes also and to only have the most ugly grey there is, very disappointed.

Excellent Urban Commuter

Pros:
Lightweight, Stylish, Nimble
Cons:
Best Uses:
Commute
If you are looking for an urban commuter, look no further. You found it! I have had this gem for one year and no regrets!. It's fast, nimble, and rugged. The solid construction makes you feel at ease even on Winnipeg streets. Upgraded from a full suspension mountain bike and shaved 10 minutes on my overall commute. On average I put 150 km/week during riding season. If you are on the fence, pull the trigger on this bike. You won't regret it.

Solid

Pros:
Comfortable, Stylish, Durable, Lightweight
Cons:
Flashy, Stylish
Best Uses:
Fun, Commuting
This is as good as it gets for a commuter! The price isn't fantastic, but It's everything I wanted, nothing I don't. Well, Except for the red anodized parts. I would rather it be less flashy. But I do get compliments on it. I suppose I will have to get used to that. I wish Trek didn't make you pay more for the cooler paint job that comes on the Elite. I couldn't be more happy with it's functionality!
